I met Maya last year, she was the hair stylist at a wedding I shot a few years back. They are such a sweet and fun couple. I know this because they are the ONLY couple to ever bring me a gift while meeting for engagement pics. They knew how much i loved wine and brought me a bottle of Syrah in a wine gift bag. I was so completely stoked, I feel like i didn't show them enough appreciation. And i know its going to be a good bottle because Enrique works at the Loft at Montage and is getting his sommelier license. Well, we met downtown and then started shooting around streets, trying to find new and interesting places to shoot. They were so natural and easy to photograph, i really didn't have to do much to make them look amazing. It also helps that they are a movie-star beautiful couple. I had a great time you two, and look forward to the wedding!

I love this couple. First off because Jerry and I are happa brothers. And more importantly because they are super laid back and fun and easy to shoot. (It could be because they are both ridiculously good looking...) Jerry was all dapper in his tie and vest, and Lisa looked forgeous and popped in her strappy heels and pink cardigan. We walked around the peninsula for a while, and then landed on the beach for some sunset pics. After leaving the pup in the car for an hour we grabbed Bailey and snapped a few shots around the town. I am so excited to finally get these pics on on my blog!

We totally had so much fun! But you deserve all the credit. Given how totally awkward we both are in front of a camera, this shoot definitely proves that you can capture just about anyone naturally and beautifully. THANK YOU for making us two geeks look great!

I love covert ops. I was thrilled to shoot this proposal because A) Joe is one of my best friends and it was a huge blessing to see him get engaged B) I got to pull out my ninja spy skills to capture him proposing!
It was a beautiful day, thankfully the rain subsided, on the beach down at Crystal Cove. Joe took Katie to breakfast at the Beachcomber while i covertly waited up the hill. I had to run and duck in one of the houses when Katie decided to use the restroom up the canyon. Luckily my molester hoody and shades i had on hid my identity. I followed them onto the rocks and captured everything. I have to admit I actually got a little teary eyed...Joe, i love you man, CONGRATS!Joe proposal blog00.jpg Joe proposal blog01.jpg Joe proposal blog02.jpg Joe proposal blog03.jpg Joe proposal blog04.jpg Joe proposal blog05.jpg Joe proposal blog06.jpg Joe proposal blog07.jpg Joe proposal blog08.jpg Joe proposal blog09.jpg Joe proposal blog10.jpg Joe proposal blog11.jpg
